Call It A Day — A New Orbit Begins

We welcome Hovak to the collective. After 21 years behind the decks and a life reshaped by the pandemic — one that pulled him away from DJing and toward production — Hovak has spent the last five years crafting music as a producer, and his trajectory has been bending steadily toward deeper, slower frequencies. Call It A Day marks his debut on our imprint.

The title holds a quiet duality. On the surface, the simple permission to stop, to rest, to let something be enough. Beneath it, a more profound gesture — the conscious decision to close one cycle so another can begin. It’s an exhale after decades of motion.

Call It A Day Artwork

Full Moon, Full Circle

Arriving under the full moon of April 2026, the track’s progressive downtempo architecture mirrors the celestial mechanics of the artwork — concentric orbits of crescent moons, watching eyes, and sacred geometry radiating outward from a luminous center. Every element is in motion, yet balanced. Every layer builds, yet breathes.

The sonic landscape carries that same intentional tension: at 112 BPM, progressive structures unfold with patience, atmospheric textures expanding and contracting like tidal forces, and a rhythmic pulse that feels less like a beat and more like a gravitational pull. This is music that doesn’t rush toward resolution — it trusts the orbit.

For Hovak, the full moon is fitting. Not a beginning, not an ending — a moment of complete illumination. The point in the cycle where everything is visible, where the path behind and the path ahead are both lit.

We hope you enjoy it as much as we do ⏾.
